Technical Product Manager

Are you a strategic and detail-oriented Product Champion who looks to derive the most value out of the product? If so, we might be your match! We are looking for a high energy, experienced, and proven Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation of next-generation building audit technology in the enterprise world.

Your job would entail leading the onboarding of our new enterprise clients. That will require identifying client requirements, a good understanding of our product, and architecting the right solution for client success. You will also help to develop processes for technical configuration, onboarding new clients, and long-term customer success.

You can have a major impact on the business and on our product roadmap by better understanding and serving client needs. You will work directly with the product team and the sales team as you lead major product deployments.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead onboarding of clients including proposing the best solution for their needs.

  • Do technical configuration to tailor the product to client needs.

  • Act as a subject matter expert with regards to building audits, program design, and utility-focused technology applications.

  • Set the implementation strategy for our next-gen product offerings by working with product, sales, marketing and operations to enable utilities to meet their success targets. 

  • Continuously strive for product market fit by identifying testable value points for our clients and tracking performance metrics.

  • Work collaboratively with the product team to develop and execute a robust product roadmap that leverages EnergyX’s unique relationships with utilities, energy retailers and channel partners.

  • Develop business cases for partnerships, investments or joint ventures to help achieve our goals.

  • Work closely with the CEO, CTO, and team leadership acting as a subject matter expert and product champion.

  • Work closely with our Marketing and Data Analytics team to ensure marketing campaigns are effective at driving consumer engagement and to provide insights for clients.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strategic detail-oriented project manager.

  • Proven experience in successful enterprise deployments.

  • Familiarity with SQL and BI dashboards.

  • Motivated self-starter with a strong initiative, working within limited direct supervision, and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong conceptual and analytical ability with the willingness to dive into the details to solve day-to-day challenges ‘hands-on’.

  • Ability to make quality decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • Ability to translate our products into a compelling customer benefit.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both internal and client-facing.
