Nishaant Sangaavi - CEO, Cofounder
In his quest to utilize the 24-hours to the fullest, Nishaant has been spending many a sleepless nights since founding energyX. Fascinated by maximizing his own, and others' potential, here are the words he lives by: "...The definition of hell; on your last day on earth, the person you could have become will meet the person you became." — Anonymous
He is a proud father of 3 kids who enjoys experimenting with new workout programs in his home gym, and traveling the world.
Alex Corneglio - CTO, Cofounder
Alex has made his career in strategic operations and engineering for energy companies in the United States and Europe.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
Kelvin Firmino - Lead Engineer
Kelvin is a lead engineer with years of experience in web development. He has worked with a diversity of segments, among them creating and maintaining a Government’s Public Hospital System and, designing and updating an API for a Sports company. He also worked in a prepaid segment company creating and updating its intern websites and RESTful applications. Kelvin is a big believer in personal growth; he invests a lot time into learn new technologies and tools to make his work even better and quicker.
On his free time, Kelvin enjoys watching movies, series, anime and also plays a variety of video games and board games when he can.
Aaron Savatti - Senior Utility Consultant
Aaron is passionate about all aspects of sustainability and energy efficiency, with rounded experience in Energy Management, HVAC, Electrical, & Facility Management.
His former experience as a canoe tripping guide across Ontario has influenced everything he does as it relates to environmental issues. Energy management is the most actionable form of environmental activism as it has a direct effect on sustainable development, and generation conservation. When Aarons not working on energy, you can usually find him in the stern of his canoe on an open lake.
Leonardo Zimmer - Lead Data Scientist
Leonardo is a Data Scientist with a passion on solving engineering problems using advanced AI and ML tools. He has a strong background on Mechanical Engineering and uses it to understand the technical problems and to deliver creative solutions to customers.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing with his son and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Jamie Abrusci - Project Manager
In the 10 years of his career, Jamie has made himself a steward for resources to serve people and the planet better. His diverse experiences in utility energy efficiency program management; running his own home performance consulting company; non-profit board governance has been a rewarding journey. Since 2011, Jamie has completed over 3,000 home inspections, home performance assessments, and new construction inspections.
Outside of work, you will find Jamie spending time with his wife and six kids, teaching the Bible, biking, or enjoying a good glass of bourbon with his friends.
Carley Wasechek - Finance Manager
A finance professional with an MBA from UCD in Ireland. She has experience across various industries both overseas and in Canada and enjoys digging into the details of Financial Statements and processes.
In her free time, she enjoys fostering dogs, spending time with family, and booking plane tickets to new places.
